Eco and ECO+ Modes: Harness Green Energy

For users with grid-tied micro-generation systems, Zappi offers Eco & ECO+ modes. These modes allow you to maximise the use of renewable energy, adjusting power consumption based on the energy usage in your household, ensuring that your vehicle charges efficiently while minimising reliance on the grid.

Eco mode prioritises charging your vehicle even when power needs to be drawn from the grid. On the other hand, Eco+ mode pauses charging when there is excessive grid demand, resuming when more free power is available.

Fast Mode: Maximum Power from the Grid

When you need to charge your EV quickly, Fast mode delivers maximum power from the grid. This mode operates similarly to other 22kW EV chargers, allowing for rapid charging and minimal downtime.

OCPP 1.6J Compatibility

With OCPP 1.6J compatibility, Zappi seamlessly integrates with various charge point management platforms and fleet management systems. The myEnergi ID app, is designed to offer PIN-code protected access management for your Zappi and personalised charging, allowing you to control access to the chargers as well as setting Zappi’s default charging mode upon plug-in to keep cost management simple. The Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) empowers you to connect Zappi with your chosen payment platform, enabling third-party apps and services to create tailored charging packages.

Designed with simplicity in mind, the charger benefits from integrated PEN fault technology which eliminates the need for costly and disruptive earth rod installations.

Wall or Pedestal Mounting

Install your way with Zappi’s versatile mounting options. Choose to install away from your building with the lightweight slimline mounting pedestal (available for purchase separately) or mount directly on to the wall to save on floor space. The pedestal can facilitate one or two Zappi EV Chargers, maximising charging capacity in a compact space.
